Full Circle: Graduation and Re-recording

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, and I wanted to share a long-overdue update. I was accepted into the graduate program at Indiana University and have now officially graduated with a Master of Science in Music Technology.

In addition to completing my degree, I’ve also started re-recording my album. While I still have some CDs available and digital versions of the original tracks can be shared upon request, the original publishing company, Tate Music Group (TMG), has since gone out of business. There is an ongoing legal case involving them out of Oklahoma, which I won’t go into here.

What I will say is this: due to issues on their end, the copyright filings for my songs were never properly completed. As a result, any albums listing TMG as the publisher and showing the original copyright dates are unfortunately not legally valid. The songs themselves are still mine, and I am in the process of reclaiming and re-releasing them under my own name with proper copyright documentation.
